Bullis family genealogy and associated families
Published in Unknown Binding by R.A.C. Bullis ()
Author: Howard Clifford Bullis
Average review score:

Of great interest to anyone named "Bullis" or related to one
This is a genealogy of the Bullis family in America beginning in Boston in about 1660. This 6-volume set traces many branches of the family, although it is certainly not complete and many assumptions were made about the relationships of family members. The genealogy was compiled from a variety of public and private records. Anyone who has ever tried to sift through old hand-written records will understand the difficulty of putting together eleven or twelve generations of material. This is a book of interest to anyone named Bullis or anyone related to a Bullis. This is a serious book for the serious genealogist. By the waters of Babylon
Published in Unknown Binding by Hutchinson ()
Author: James Howard Wellard
Average review score:

An excellent example of literature
By the Waters of Babylon was written before World War II. This is a fundamental when reading the story. It predicts all of the horrible things to come from an advanced society (such as ours today). While doing this it tells a stroy about a young boy who learns of the end for the old human race (who were at their peak around 500 years before). The name of the city that the boy travels to isn't broadcasted throughout the story also. The author reveals the cities name almost "between the lines" (the author states "new york"). That is all.

Candle burning : its occult significance
Published in Unknown Binding by Red Wheel/Weiser ()
Author: Michael Howard
Average review score:

Helpful
Michael Howard tells you how to work with candles. Candle have been used by esotericism and religion alike for centuries. They have a practical usage. More than that, however, candles can literally bring about change: they induce magic.

Now I am not writing this for unbelievers. They are too short-sided to appreciate the art of candle burning.

The Carl Rogers Reader
Published in Paperback by Houghton Mifflin Co (Pap) (August, 1989)
Authors: Howard Kirschenbaum and Valerie Land Henderson
Average review score:

Excellent book!
Excellent book to read for people who are concerned with the approach and values in psychotherapy.

Carl Rogers reviewed many of his heart-felt issues in the subject matter.

The "client-centered" approach in psychotherapy cannot be ignored if we do believe that human being is more than just one class of object in the study of science.

Get one and find it out yourself! Easy reading and extremely insightful!

comment by the editor of the book
This book is 10 years old, but in this
slow-moving field where results are hard won,
most of it is still worthwhile. Just the
fact that you are contemplating buying this
book puts you in a very rare class IV of
individuals. Confirm your status and buy
a copy! 2000 were printed, looks like a few
still left. get 'em while they're hot.

Centered in God: The Way of Jesus, the Way of Life
Published in Paperback by Augsburg Fortress Publishers (November, 1995)
Authors: Evan Drake Howard and Eevan D. Howard
Average review score:

This is a great book one must read and kept for LIFE!!!
Anyone who wants to further study the correlation of the life of Jesus Christ and depth psychology should read this! It is written very eloquently and easy to understand and certainly explains (from the psychological point of view) of why Jesus is the way He is, and clarifys what it means to love, the meaning of suffering, the source of peace, God the Father, suffering as redemptive, wholeness and integrative love, and the overall process of being reborn in one's lifelong journey to imitate Christ. If Mr. Drake should ever read this, I say to you, "Thank you for this wonderful and inspiring book. Your efforts and gifts are truly appreciated." :0)

The Ceremonies of the Eucharist: A Guide to Celebration
Published in Paperback by Cowley Publications (October, 1989)
Author: Howard E. Galley
Average review score:

The Ceremonies of the Eucharist: A Guide to Celebration
The Ceremonies of the Eucharist is an excellent guide for those persons responsible for Eucharistic worship. It is particularly helpful for clergy and lay people seeking ways to improve and deepen the quality of their liturgy (worship services) through the introduction of well thought out and theologically sound ceremonies. Galley's book is intended largely for an Episcopal readership as he seeks to create the liturgical environment intended by the 1979 Book of Common Prayer. What makes this book especially useful is that he not only explains how things might be done but also discusses how differnces in size of congregation will effect choices. Overall he achieves a good balance between formality and hospitality in worship. The book is Anglican in its spirituality and breadth. Non-episcoplains would find this book interesting as an additional resource in deciding what shape and style their worship might take.

Challenge The Widow-Maker And Other Stories Of People In Peril
Published in Paperback by Crippen & Landru, Publishers (28 April, 2000)
Author: Clark Howard
Average review score:

Great Short Stories
The title of this book does not do the stories inside justice. These are great stories, all with a lot of heart. These stories are all technically mystery stories, because they all include a crime, but each would appeal to readers of any genre because they are so well-written and intriguing.
